I have lots of these...see what you can come up with....

A time long ago, there lived a king. His kingdom was like other kingdoms in every regard except for one thing: the affects of poison there were different.

Although poison was "hanikarak" (bad for you), a more deadlier poison acted as an antidote to a less deadlier one. I.e. if a "nagar vasi" (villager) swallowed one poison, he/she would be cured if he/she then swallowed a more vicious poison.

In order to ensure his survival, the king realized it was imperative that he have the most lethal poison in the land. So he ordered his head Apothecary and his Chief Advisor to each produce a poison for him within 24 hours. After production, each would ingest the poison provided by the other and then swallow his own poison. Whoever survived at the end would not only have the most lethal poison, but would obviously remain alive.

Knowing that the Apothecary would definitely produce the best poison (since this was his profession), what can the Chief Advisor to do ensure he is the one left standing?

Seems to me that the Advisor should be in good shape since the creator of the weakest poison should be the one left standing, assuming of course that he drinks his own creation first.

Not so fast dimer...

After production, each would ingest the poison provided by the other and then swallow his own poison.

You have to drink your concoction last....

So he would either need to pull the old switcheroo or call in sick for work.

the chief does not create any poison, and lets the apothecary go first.

That is the key.

You know the apothecary has the stronger poison. But how is it possible when Chief Advisor drinks his (weaker) last?

Well, kind of...

THE ADVISOR MAKES HIS POISON INNOCUOUS (E.G) WATER….AND TAKES A REAL POISON (NOT THE CRAZY SUPER LETHAL KIND) BEFORE THE SHOWDOWN….SO HE HAS SOME POISON IN HIS GUT…

THEN DURING THE SHOWDOWN HE JUST BRINGS SOME WATER AS FAKE POISON…

HE DRINKS THE TOUGHEST POISON (FROM THE APOTHECARY) WHICH WOULD SERVE AS AN ANTIDOTE TO WHAT HE TOOK BEFORE THE SHOWDOWN….THEN THE WATER WHICH HE BROUGHT..SO HE IS COOL

AND FOR THE OTHER GUY…HE WOULD TAKE THE WATER…THEN THE CRAZY POISON WITH NO ANTIDOTE AND BE DIZZEEEAAD!

:nohead:
